Avoid using images or graphics for the entire design of your site. Search engines can't read your beautiful images, and this will make it very hard for them to know what your site is about. It also makes it very difficult to make changes to your site, and isn't very friendly to surfers using screen readers. If you do use images, be sure to use the ALT tag with a description of the text. This will help vision impaired users and search engines navigate your content.
Test all the pages and features of your site before you launch and after any changes. It's a great idea to do this with multiple browsers if at all possible. You want to make sure that your site maintains a consistent appearance and is functional across multiple platforms. This will help ensure that no matter how your visitors are viewing your site they will get the experience that you intended.
